If I recall correctly (I grew up in Mo...Hi Brooks, <br />If I recall correctly (I grew up in Montreal, but haven't lived there in 20 years) , the route to the summit used in the '76 Olympics was probably voie Camillien-Houde, aka the paved road to the summit. The firm-packed gravel road you mention above would probably be the Olmstead trail. The '76 Olympic would I think have also included the hill through the University of Montreal (chemin de la tour) and one or two other climbs, though I'm unsure of which ones. I was too young in '76 but saw the Grand Prix de Montréal in 1989 & 1990, which used some of the same roads.
