There is a little "notch" on the derailleur hanger, and you want to make sure that the "stop" piece on the ring is behind the notch. Other than that, I can't imagine why it wouldn't fit.Brookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12110998345857993287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8492685525705691186.post-63879833598327797072018-09-05T05:56:56.577-04:002018-09-05T05:56:56.577-04:00Hi retrogrouch loving your articles.

I am rebuilding a holdsworth elan I had when I was 16 and at the time in about ‘88 at the time I wanted the full Athena group set but finances were the issue so now I am rebuilding as I wanted at that stage. Can you help regarding the fitting of the mech to the frame. It appears that the little doogit ring which adjusts gear sizes (which breaks and yes I have found a spare!) is so close to the attachment screw it wont fit direct to the frame. Dropouts are all Campagnolo with brazed rear mech point. Any suggestions? Do you file the attachment ? Help please be greatly appreciated....... from any one Tomcat.gvnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8492685525705691186.post-37868188621567184412018-07-17T14:52:16.428-04:002018-07-17T14:52:16.428-04:00That kid getting Merckx' autograph would have ...That kid getting Merckx' autograph would have been beaten up in the USA at the time. You wrote that it took place in Holland. That would be like saying you intend to visit Rapid City, Dakota. Holland is in the name of two provinces of the Netherlands, North and South Holland. Leiden is in South Holland. I think what you actually meant to write is that it took place in Leiden, the Netherlands.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09963008814386098436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8492685525705691186.post-7098092063057245572018-07-13T12:09:42.061-04:002018-07-13T12:09:42.061-04:00
